About the Running P Ropes Company

Perry and Clint Bigbee, the founders of Running P Ropes, started making ropes in 1987. When they started making ropes there were only two other rope companies in the world. Back then nobody was willing to give up much information about how to make a rope because they wanted to keep the market to themselves. Perry and Clint spent almost two years trying to make a perfect rope. All the time spent was mostly trial and error because lack of knowledge. It was a long hard road to reach the consistency and great feel that Running P Ropes have today, but thanks to Clint and Perry many wins across the United States can be contributed to Running P Ropes. Today, Running P is one of the last privately owned rope companies in the United States. The Bigbee family has over 40 years experience, and is one of the most well-known and trusted names in the rodeo industry.
